Have you always enjoyed the outdoors? Do you find yourself wanting to travel to little-known places of the world? Does the idea of pushing the boundaries of your comfort zone a little sound appealing? Is there an “inner explorer” within you that you may want to cultivate? Or might you just want to learn about places that you have not had a chance to visit?
Dan Busby will be the guest speaker at the next Yours Outdoors speaker series. The presentation will be an illustrated talk featuring little-known parts of the world that only Expedition Cruising can offer. As a photographer, a wildlife biologist and an Expedition Team member Dan aims to document the journeys as a stories to be told. From Antarctica to the Arctic and places in between, the talk will feature images and videos of wildlife, nature and breath-taking scenery of these far-away places. Areas to be highlighted include Antarctica, the Falkland Islands, southern South America, the mid-Atlantic islands of the Azores, Madeira and Canary Islands, as well as western Europe, Iceland, Greenland, Labrador and Newfoundland.
Dan will also talk about the experience of Expedition Cruising from both the passenger viewpoint as well as that of an Expedition Team member. He will provide insight for those considering an expedition cruise and hopes to inspire the “inner explorer” within all of us.
Admission is $10 /per person. A portion of the proceeds will go to a local conservation organization
