Craft Series: Embroidery

Learn how to hand embroider at the Wolf Centre! This 2 hour craft workshop will include: beginner-friendly instruction by passionate crafters, all materials to create a nature-inspired embroidered artwork, Wolf Centre Admission, and snacks and beverages to fuel your crafting. Make connections with other fun, nature-loving people and explore your creative side in an encouraging, low pressure environment.

Come to the Haliburton Forest Wolf Centre to experience a quiet and casual afternoon of crafting. At the start of the session, you will have a chance to view the wolf pack and explore the two galleries. Once you receive all of your required embroidery materials – including an embroidery hoop, needle, thread and fabric, we will work through a set of comprehensive written instructions (which you can refer to throughout the session). After a brief introduction to get you started, your instructors will be available to provide support and answer any questions during the session. If you do not complete the craft in the allotted timeframe, you will be able to take home the instructions and materials to finish at your own pace.
