  • Booking Procedure

    To make a booking, you can either book online directly from our website or contact our main office for assistance with booking over the phone at 1-800-631-2198.

    At time of booking, full payment is required. Once you have booked, you will be emailed a detailed confirmation with all the info you need to know to enjoy your experience.

    • Credit and credit/debit cards are accepted online or over the phone
    • Cash payment can be made in person at our main office located at 1095 Redkenn Rd. Haliburton, K0M 1S0

    All prices are in Canadian dollars and subject to 13% HST and 3% customer service fee.

  • Liability

    A waiver must be completed by all participants prior to an experience. Parent/Guardians must complete a waiver for each youth participant they are responsible for.

    Guests who do not complete their waiver will not be able to participate.

    Waivers can be completed online by clicking the “View Required Documents” button on the bottom of your booking invoice. You will also receive a copy of this invoice by email that you can then access at any point in time. You can also share the waiver to other members of your group from there.

  • What if I am late or go to the wrong location?

    If you are going to be late for your experience, please contact as soon as possible. Plan ahead as best you can to avoid being late, as we cannot guarantee that your guide/experience will be able to wait for you. No refunds or discounts are available for late guests.

    If you go to the wrong location for your experience and end up being late or miss the experience as a result, no refunds or discounts are available. It is very important that you thoroughly read the detailed information in your confirmation email to ensure you go to the correct location for your experience.

    While many of our experiences happen at Haliburton Forest, we have experiences happening throughout Haliburton county and it is important that you plan ahead to ensure you end up in the right place.

  • What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

    Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible to avoid penalties.

    Our cancellation policy applies both to cancellations and rescheduling.

    Should Yours Outdoors initiate rescheduling, no penalties will apply to you.

    Should you need to cancel or reschedule because of exceptional, extenuating circumstances, Yours Outdoors may deviate from the cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Client

This policy applies to both cancellations and rescheduling. As some of our costs are incurred prior to the experience package date, we are bound to the following cancellation fees.

  • 16+ days before booking: Cancellations made 16 days or more before the date of the experience or arrival are subject to a $25 administration fee per activity/item, the remainder of fees paid are refundable.
  • 6-15 days before booking: Cancellations made 15 days or less before the date of experience or arrival will result in the loss of 50% of the total booking cost of the cancelled activity/item/participant.
  • 5 days or less before booking: Cancellations 5 days or less prior to the experience or arrival are non-refundable. Late arrivals, no shows or clients going to the wrong address will be treated as cancellations.
Cancellation by Yours Outdoors

In the case where Yours Outdoors has to cancel an experience package for any reason (guide has personal emergency, minimum number of participants not met, etc.) we shall attempt to reschedule your booking or offer a full refund of the fees you have already paid. We reserve the right to cancel at any time prior to the beginning of the experience, but will make efforts to give you fair notice when possible.

Yours Outdoors reserves the right to modify itineraries or if necessary cancel an experience package due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. weather conditions). If this occurs we shall endeavor to meet your needs with another experience on a mutually convenient date, or offer a full refund.
