Create a one-of-a-kind patchwork landscape using fabric scraps at the Wolf Centre! This drop-in craft workshop offers beginner friendly guidance from passionate crafters, plus all materials to make a take home art piece. Let nature inspire your craft in a welcoming, low pressure environment perfect for all ages and skill levels.
Come to the Haliburton Forest Wolf Centre and explore the educational facility with museum-style exhibits, a cinema, and one-way glass observatories overlooking the 7 acre enclosure in which our resident wolf pack lives. You’re sure to be inspired by the wolves and the environment they call home. Then have a seat in the main gallery and join fellow crafters in creating your patchwork landscape. This craft is perfect for any age and skill level and can be as simple or complex as you or your child desires. A denim rectangle will act as your canvas, and colourful fabric scraps will be your paint. After a brief explanation to get you started, an instructor will be available to provide support and answer any questions throughout the session.
Please Note: This program will run from 10:00am – 4:30pm on March 18th, 2026. You may come at any time during these operating hours, but we suggest allocating approximately 2 hours to get the full experience. We recommend you arrive by 2:30pm at the latest for ample wolf viewing and crafting time!
